Clean the sensor and also blow out the lens/shutter that's still in the camera body as there can be dust in there. The wires will remain attached to the sensor plate as you remove it so it can feel somewhat awkward. Lift the sensor plate out and carefully flip it over to clean the sensor. (I had no problems with image alignment or focus using this method). ALSO remember the amount of torque needed to remove the screws so that you apply the same amount when reassembling. Just be careful as you remove those 3 sensor screws as there are very small springs behind the sensor plate as you remove it. After that it's very easy to remove the backplate and 3 screws holding the sensor. I also used fixit procedures, however I used the one for removal of the motherboard.
